Introductions and Methodology

Much of Criterion A: Focus and Method is assessed the in introduction section of the extended essay. This criterion is worth up to six points. It evaluates your topic, research question, and methodology, as well as effectively you articulate this information.

A strong introduction typically has four distinct parts: context, argument outline, scope, and worthiness.
