Dart Frog Poison Used as a Weapon 2 Years Ago?
By: Vibhav Kuturu
What happened?
Alexei Navalny is a Russian Lawyer who was killed on February 16, 2024. The death was mysterious and reasons were absent as scientists and researchers, as well as investigators, could not figure out the cause of the death. However, recent studies and reports reveal that the Russians used dart frog poison to kill Alexei Navalny.
Who is Alexei Navalny
Alexei Navalny is a Russian lawyer, a Russian opposition leader and an anti corruption activist. He also founded the Anit-Corruption Foundation. Through his work he also was awarded the Sakharov Award for the human rights he worked for. He later started creating materials describing the corruption in the government, and later describing them as “thieves”. The Russian government eventually kept him in jail due to his criticism of the government. He faced 10-15 years of prison after additional charges. After several months, the Russian government has announced that he was unwell when taking a morning walk, and died. He was later taken to his family and his legacy was still remembered after a lot of months and years.
How do we know about poisoning?
However in February 2026 at a Munich Security Conference, a joint statement from the UK, Germany, Sweden, France, and the Netherlands stated that Alexi Navalny died due to lethal poisoning by the Russian government using neurotoxin by a dart frog. Many sources are confirming the act and people around the world are stunned at the discovery and why the discovery took so long for it to get into public light. A forensic investigation conducted by these countries who made a joint statement found the actual truth. ‘
According to sources, there is evidence that provides this statement. The New York Times said that he might have been poisoned twice, because of how there was a bottle of poison in his hotel room. Other sources are detailing it as a rare frog, and the poison was not derived from a common dart frog. Sources are saying this dart frog was found in South America, a large question is how Russia was able to go to South America to derive the poison.
Although, full studies and investigations are not capturing the actual process. Investigations are still ongoing as researchers and investigators are finding out the true questions people are looking for.

A Timeline of Events: The War with the United States & Iran
By: Vibhav Kuturu
February 28, 2026 (Start of the War)
The first strikes between Iran and the United States was an operation conducted by an Israeli-US operation targeting critical military points. The main objective of Operation Epic Furry (United States) and Operation Roaring Lion (Israel) was to kill the supreme leader Ali Khamenei of Iran. According to many sources, the CIA tracked the supreme leader's positions for many months, before deciding the correct time to strike.
The strike contained multiple strikes destroying the residence, and also killing other military generals and leaders. Other strikes were seen focusing on underground bunkers, or other facilities. The objective was to clear out nuclear weapons in Iran, said in a statement by the President Donald Trump. However people in the United States and the CIA mentioned that their weapons would not be able to reach the United States, and the production of nuclear weapons is not present.
On the same day, a joint U.S. and Israeli operation hit an Iranian girls school killing at least 180 girls. President Donald Trump mentions that the United States did not hit the school. But after many investigations, it was clear that the U.S. was at fault. However, more evidence and statistics are being gathered.
March 1-4, 2026 (Retalliation)
Following the strikes against Iran’s supreme leader and other targets, major retaliations have occurred between the United States and Iran. On March 1, 2026 six service members died in an Iran strike when a U.S. plane was being refueled. According to President Trump, he described them as heroic members. Later, there was a dignified transfer honoring the service members who died.
Also, on March 1, Iran retaliated against other Middle East Countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Iraq and the UAE. Qatar in a statement mentioned that it intercepted all the strikes. Other images reveal the damage of other countries due to the retaliation strikes. Iran later apologized, after Saudi Arabia saying that if it happens one more time, it would retaliate too.
On March 2, retaliation strikes against Israel were there hitting a residential neighborhood. More retaliation strikes were present against Iran and hit Lebanon and hit other infrastructure.
On March 4, the United States navy sank an Iranian frigate in the Indian Ocean. This was also the first combat sinking by a U.S. submarine since World War II.
March 13, 2026
The United States did continue to do air combat strikes, targeting key military areas, and bases, Iran continues to attack U.S. bases in the area and targeting other critical positions. Strikes are trading between the U.S. and Iran, as well as Israel.
Impacts of the War
There are many other impacts other than security for the world. As Iran is a major supplier of oil, Iran is raising prices and is affecting the global oil market. Usually a barrel is about $50, but now it has jumped to $100. Although the United States has oil reserves, and has released them, exports are still wondering how long these reserves would last.
Conclusion
This war may last for a long time, or several months, or several years. However the continued strikes between these countries is just another war we as a world are facing. Israel has the Iron Dome helping it to intercept many of Iran’s missiles. The U.S. has many bases in the area as well as a strong military helping it to retaliate. Iran has many cheap drones allowing it to attack many times.

Flashback: United States Captures President Maduro & His Wife.
By: Vibhav Kuturu
This is a picture depicting the president of Madurou and his wife.
What Happened?
On January 3, 2026 a large-scale military attack hit Venezuela thus resulting in the capture of Nicolas Maduro and his wife. The U.S. stated that its reason for capturing Maduro was based upon narco-terrorism conspiracy.
The United States successfully captured the president and his wife, which are to face United States justice, and has already been held in the court. Meanwhile, the president and his wife are in Brooklyn in a detention center in New York awaiting court trials.
Why Captured?
The reason for Nicolas Maduro and his wife's capture have many different views and perspectives. The reason the United States has mentioned is, that he is charged with narco-terrorism conspiracy and convicted of cocaine entering the United States, which is what the authorities have described as a narcoterrorism conspiracy.
Another reason that people believe is the amount of oil present. Venezuela has 303.01 barrels of oil as for 2023 thus showing a relationship between the United States and oil. People also state that the United States might be looking to sell the oil from Venezuela, which may provide more oil to the United States. But questions are also raised about how to convert the oil into crude oil, and the oil in Venezuela is not used in industries. In order to use the oil, you need refining plants which help refine the oil from crude oil to the oil we see today. So, there are still many questions and concerns about the reasons and purposes of capturing Nicolas Maduro and his wife.
How did it Play Out?
The timings of this exact capture vary, but it did happen at night as they went inside the president and his wife’s bedroom.
How is the World Reacting?
The world has mixed reactions as countries are viewing it as a violation of International law, while other countries believe that capturing the president allows a safer society.
The United Nations also views it as a violation of international law, and portrays mixed reactions throughout the world.
Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs states that it is “deeply concerned that rules of international law have not been respected concerning the 3 January military action.” He continues, also saying that it is a “threat or use of force against the territorial integrity."
Other countries supported the United States actions towards Venezuela, describing it as a “bold and historic leadership on behalf of freedom and justice.”
Now the President is Gone; Who is in Charge?
This question is growing among Americans, and the world. After the capture of Nicolas Maduro, the United States mentioned that it would establish a leadership in Venezuela. But, the vice president of Venezuela declared her as the temporary leader, and this transition raises questions about how this leadership is going to be established, and if the United States is going to establish a leadership in Venezuela.
The United States has also mentioned that they would be in charge of the country until a “judicious transition” has been made.
