At Bankhead, we are always happy to welcome volunteers as a valued part of our school community. Whether you're a parent, family member, or someone looking to gain experience of working in a school, we are always happy to have you.
One of our key volunteering opportunities is in our Paired Reading programme. This programme supports children in building confidence and enjoyment in reading through reading partnership with a volunteer. Training is provided and our volunteers find this programme to be highly rewarding.
No prior experience is necessary, as any training will be provided. If you have a little time to give each week, we would love to welcome you into a friendly and supportive volunteering role at Bankhead.
