Reading at Bankhead Primary

At Bankhead Primary, we aim to create a Literacy-rich environment, nurturing a passion for reading, and equipping our children with both the reading and critical thinking skills to succeed in life and work. Across the school, we use the Active Literacy programme for Reading. Active Literacy utilises an integrated approach, and links directly to our Spelling and Phonics programme across the school.
