Good day to all of you, I'm Johnrael P. Navelgas, but you can simply call me El, Rael or J-rael, whenever your choose to be liking. I'm a 4th Year Bachelor in Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics Student in Ateneo de Naga University. Even though I'm a towering giant that may seem to intimidate someone (knowing that I'm a 6'1" as of my last check-up), I am a gentle-hearted person as long as you're willing to listen not just my lessons, but also some fun things that may change your life, even just for a while.
In case you're wondering, why did I chose Teaching rather than other professions such as a policeman, or even a part of AFP due to my height and physique? Well, I've got inspired from one of my teachers in my Junior High School years in Camarines Sur National High School. Ever since I've stepped in the four corners of the Crone Class in the Academic Year 2016-2017, I already knew that I should prepare to the path that I'm going to choose, and that educator that gave me motivation to push into pursuing Teaching in Mathematics is Ms. Sherilyn Saguirer.
After all of my experiences in CamHi, whether its from the Junior High Years to Senior High Years (this does include my voice being heard as one of the radio broadcasters in Ang Isarog, competing numerous and increasingly difficult challenges as our names and the school is on the line, along with my solo performance to use a foreign language on a national level) why did I still pursue teaching mathematics?
It boils down to the perspectives I have experienced throughout her teaching years in the Crone Classroom. Yes she may be strict and all (not to mention I may have violated some of the rules that she stated from the start of the class, even though I'm the class monitor for the whole class year on her time) there are times that she also gives back, therefore from that point forward, even how hard the circumstances may be, you can always remember that there are others that can support you and guide you to your journey because even if the dream may be distant, it doesn't mean that it is just a mere speck that can die out easily, because if you continue to pursue it, there is no limitation to everything. That's because...
Video games, especially the anime-style ones on either my mobile device or my laptop. I was very competitive in some of the games like CoD:M, LoL:WR, Valorant, and Dead By Daylight, but now, I've preferred anime-style games with or without gacha elements like Genshin Impact, Tower of Fantasy, Punishing: Gray Raven and the like, because I like the storytelling of these games and there's always new and exciting ways to play it.
Video editing, video tutorials, and photo editing, although I only use my phone to utilize it, one example is the photo on the right, I've been collaborated with my friend (Runjee) in utilizing the colors and the aesthetic of the CoD:M - Hashira Clan Banner that has been the cover of the first year anniversary of founding the aforementioned clan in the game. It's been a blast determining which colors and combos we've choose in just a short amount of time.

My Reason Why: Somehow, the story of her correlates to what it does on my life as a student. Yes I may not have the capability (or even trying) to sing just like her, but looking on what does mean by 'pouring your heart' into the things you love is the sole reason this became the thematic or the story that I'll also pursue, to look at the index, the height of the tower I've perceive in the back of my mind, and then, deliver everything I've learned to conquer what bothers and pulls me down. If she, already knew the answer of putting one's heart, in her case, on a Song in her 100-year journey even she's an AI from the start, I, as a human may find this same answer, but in this case, on my teaching for maybe a year ahead or two.
And speaking of talking about the Blue-haired Singing AI completing the 100-year journey as my favorite series that I fondly remembered of, I have also stumbled about the concept novel that I've mentioned from my Favorite series.

Clearly one of the Light Novels / Novels in general that I personally attached of, if others could not (for the reason that I bought it with my own earnings). As I've mentioned in this e-portfolio, Vivy: Prototype is the concept novel of the Spring 2021 Sci-fi Anime that became my favorite series, but let me tell you something, I'm quite intrigued of the changes made from the Concept Novel to the animation itself, for instance in Prototype, Vivy is depicted as a slender, petite lady (as depicted on the illustration presented), compared to Fluorite Eye's Song, she is tall, if you can even call it a she. But nonetheless, if you want to know a potential future or should I say, prediction if we aren't aware that AI tools like ChatGPT can evolve exponentially and eventually take over our world, you can borrow my collection, or watch the series, we might, in the future, be prepared to have our plan to prevent these AI to ruin our world view, and eventually live with harmony with our own creation as technology evolves further down the line.
