High School
Art Club
Students will work on projects for to further explore art skills and concepts outside of class, as well as work on projects to enhance the school, the community and for staff. Students will also go on trips to different local galleries, studios and museums to see a variety of work in person.
This is a High School Club, grades 9-12
There is a $5 due fee that goes toward buses and students do pay an admission fee for most trips at a discounted student rate (generally $6-$8)
We generally vary trips from year to year, but we try to do 2 trips throughout the year, places we have visited in the past include: The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Brandywine River Museum, Old City Philly for the First Friday Gallery Openings, Grounds for Sculpture, The Magic Garden and The Fabric Workshop.
We participate in school and community art related activities and we typically do a mural for community service day
Consistent attendance is necessary for you to join and have a successful art club
See Mrs. Cichoski to join, we typically meet every Wednesday from 2:37-3:24
