Book Club is a high school club for people who lIke books--reading books, discussing books, sharing books and finding out about new books. We work hard to spread our love for books throughout Gateway with a number of school-wide activities, and we also nurture our own love of books with several fun, book-related trips throughout the year.

We work hard to spread our love for books throughout Gateway with a number of school-wide activities, and we also nurture our own love of books with several fun, book-related trips throughout the year.
About the Club:
Book club is open to high school students only.
We meet once a month, generally the third Thursday of every month.
Our dues are $5.00 for the whole year; however, if you pay $10 you get a free Book Club T-shirt!
Our activities will include book debates, book club discussions, and student-made book baskets.
We traditionally go on 4 trips a year: one community service trip in support of the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, one museum trip, and two theater trips.
We are an entirely self-funded club, but due to our vigorous fundraising program, all trip cost $15 or less!
