Next Week is Teacher Appreciation Week!
As we prepare to start the close of the year, we wanted to provide you two ways to show appreciation to your Coyle staff. 1. Click on the button below for each department to find your student's teachers who they would like to show some appreciation. or 2. Remind students about the gift of a smile on a Coyle staff members face with thank yous, comment-less correction and doing their best to show how much they have grown academically on their MAP Math, Reading and Science tests over the next few weeks. Both ways put a smile on a teacher's face and show they Coyle Cougar Spirit!
Remember to limit technology usage to get a good night's sleep!
6-8 hours is perfect!
Breakfast is free at school for all students at Coyle!
Eating fruit is still a good option!
Arrive in enough time to start your day right! Spend time being calm and focused.
Testing rooms are posted in all halls.
Think positive thoughts about your future! Testing is only 1 small part of your bigger picture!
Library Books are all due on May 2nd.
Fees will be added to Skyward!
Cycle Recovery & Attendance Recovery
Due May 9th!!!
Chromebooks & Chargers will be picked up on May 16th!
Fees will be added to Skyward!
Prepare for success!
Make sure to know that all choices can set you up for success!
Are you ready for next year? Outgoing & Incoming student events!
What can show that my student is ready to be promoted?
If you missed more than 18 days for the year and did not turn in notes to have the absences EXCUSED, you will be at risk of being retained.
Remember that your Math, English & Reading, Science & History Semester 1 & 2 Scores must be 70% or higher. Passing STAAR could provide opportunity to show mastery and be promoted.
Approaches, Meets & Masters are considered passing scores at the State Standard. Students who also fail to meet Expected Progress are not able to use STAAR as proof of mastery for promotion.
Here are some important reminders:
