I asked for feedback from 5 of my coachees. Among other reflective and feedback questions, I asked 5 Likert Scale questions with these statements:
I feel that my coach has helped me improve my teaching practice.
I feel that my coach has helped me make progress towards my professional goals.
My coach provides me with useful resources and materials when I ask for them.
I feel that my coach listens to me.
I feel that my coach respects me.
As seen in the graph above, all five either Agreed or Strongly Agreed to statements 1 and 2. However, all 5 of my coachees Strongly Agreed with statments 3, 4, and 5, which relate to building relationships and trust with my coachees.
This directly relates to how comfortable my coachees are in trying new things in the classroom and with their staff.
This year, I designed on-going training to include how to support different learners within our Learning Management System for PK-2, Seesaw. My focus was to support educators in effectively creating Seesaw activities for Gifted and Talented PK-2 learners.
We facilitated i3s (Innovators in Instruction) to review their Fall digital tool usage and evaluate how to support their campus.
i3s reviewed usage data from Canvas, Nearpod, Pear Deck, and Seesaw to support future professional development.
This year, we partnered with the Personalized Learning department to offer on-going choice-based sessions to support utilizing technology in K-2 classrooms.
The sessions I offered varied from Seesaw, Microsoft Reading Coach, Canva, and Pear Deck.
