We were delighted to welcome our community to the Russian Language Day celebration on Tuesday, 3 June 2025, organised by the Home Languages Programme and led by our Russian Home Language Teacher, Ms Olga Borodina.
This special event provided our Home Language Russian students with a wonderful opportunity to showcase their language skills while celebrating the richness of Russian culture, literature, and traditions. Through performances and shared learning, students demonstrated their growing confidence and connection to the language.
The event also offered a meaningful opportunity for families to meet and connect with other Russian-speaking families within our school community, strengthening relationships and celebrating our shared heritage together.
We thank our students, families, and Ms Borodina for their enthusiasm and contributions, which made the event a memorable and meaningful celebration of language and culture.

Our Russian Celebration, held on 12 December at the Middle School Block, Level 5, was a joyful evening celebrating culture, and traditions.
Families and children enjoyed a vibrant programme rooted in Russian New Year customs, including a special visit from Ded Moroz, festive games and activities, New Year karaoke in Russian, and shared moments that brought the holiday spirit to life.
The warm and welcoming atmosphere reflected the strong sense of community within our Russian Home Language Programme. It was wonderful to see Russian-speaking families come together to celebrate their cultural heritage and mark the New Year in such a festive way.
