Focuses on developing Basic Interpersonal Communicative Skills (BICS).
Learning is theme-based and centres on everyday language use, with an emphasis on listening, speaking, and practical vocabulary rather than a prescriptive academic curriculum.
Assessment
Ongoing assessments, based on teacher observation, participation, and engagement.
Feedback supports students’ confidence and communicative growth in familiar contexts, without formal written assessments.
