Login credentials are more valuable than ever and are increasingly easy to compromise. Over 90% of breaches today involve compromised usernames and passwords. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) enhances the security of your account by using a secondary device to verify your identity. This prevents anyone but the account holder from accessing the account, even if they know the password.
All students will be required to MFA if attempting to access district resources on a PERSONAL DEVICE. This does not affect district iPads.
Students using district provided services (Clever, Lexia, Google, etc.) from a personal device will need to setup MFA before they can do so
Students can only use a phone number to receive texts or automated phone calls
