This password can be provided to you by the iPad support person at your school.
For students in 6th grade and higher, a web clip is on the iPad's home screen that allows students to change their passwords.
Tapping on the web clip opens this screen. The old password is your current password.
New password requirements:
Must be 8 characters or greater in length
Cannot contain the student's first or last name
Weak passwords may be rejected
Students can only change their password once per day.
For any issues with this process contact the iPad support person at your school.
If a student iPad isn't available, but you need to perform a password change to access sites like StudentVUE, you can change the password in a web browser here.
Student accounts can become "locked" when incorrect password(s) are entered too many times. In this case, the account becomes locked and the user won't be able to sign in to anything (ie StudentVUE, Gmail, etc.) for 30 minutes. If you think this is happening because you can't log in, wait a full 30 minutes before attempting to sign in and try again.
