Open the Settings app.
At the top-left, tap Sign in to your iPad if you are not signed in.
Enter your Apple Account and password (firstnamelastname@student.bend.k12.or.us).
Sign in to your district account with your username and password.
Open the Settings app.
Tap “Update Apple Account Settings” next to the red dot (if there is one). If you don’t have a red dot, tap Personal Information to see if you’re prompted to enter your password.
If prompted, enter your password.
If the iPad does not need your Apple Account password, iCloud is signed in and working. If it did need your password, this step re-authorizes your iCloud account.
Verify you are signed in to iCloud (see the first section).
Open Notability.
On the All Notes screen, tap the gear icon at the bottom left.
Tap iCloud.
Turn iCloud Syncing On.
You can move a document to another location, including to iCloud.
Open Pages, and if a document is already open, tap Documents in the top-left corner to see all your documents.
Tap Select in the top-right corner, then tap the document (a checkmark appears).
If you don’t see the document you want to move, try searching for it, or tap Browse or Recents at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Move at the bottom of the screen, then tap the folder or other location where you want to move the document.
Tap Move in the top-right corner.
You can move a presentation to another location, including to iCloud.
Open Keynote, and if a document is already open, tap Documents in the top-left corner to see all your documents.
Tap Select in the top-right corner, then tap the document (a checkmark appears).
If you don’t see the document you want to move, try searching for it, or tap Browse or Recents at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Move at the bottom of the screen, then tap the folder or other location where you want to move the document.
Tap Move in the top-right corner.
Open the Settings app.
Tap your name at the top-left.
Tap iCloud.
Tap Photos, then turn on iCloud Photos.
Photos should automatically start uploading to iCloud.
When you turn on iCloud Photos, the time it takes for your photos and videos to upload to iCloud depends on the size of your collection and your internet speed. If you have a large collection of photos and videos, your upload might take more time than usual. You can see the status and pause the upload for one day.
On your iPad, open the Photos app, go to the Library tab, and tap All Photos. Then scroll to the bottom of your screen to see the status.
Tap , then Gallery, and select an option from the screen.
Do one of the following:
Swipe to the thumbnail view of the sketch you want to export. Tap , select Export PSD, then swipe the list to find and select iCloud Photo Sharing.
Pinch the screen to enter folder view, tap , then tap the sketches you want to save, to select them. Along the bottom of the screen, tap Move To. At the top, tap iCloud and drag the sketch onto an iCloud folder.
Tap the sharrow icon beneath the book you want to save and choose Export as ePub. Then, choose Save to Files and finally, Save.
Situations can vary, but graduating students generally should have access to their student accounts from the district through June 30th. In other cases, accounts are disabled after 30 days from the withdrawal date in the system.
Use Google Takeout to download the data saved in your student Google account. Once you receive the email from Google that your files are ready - ignore it! Go to takeout.google.com directly and download your .zip files. You can then AirDrop them to another Apple device or sign in on a personal device (MFA setup is required) and download the file(s) there.
Follow these steps to save data from your student iCloud account (MFA setup is required). Secondary students (6-12th) can also use AirDrop on their iPads to transfer content to a personal Apple device.
