Tuesday's Priority Task:

1) First, follow along with Mrs. Brown to hear about our sound of the week and our new sight words!

2) Then read the story "Storm Watch" in your packet (Week 8, Day 1).

3) After you're done reading, complete the worksheet page about the story (pg. 301). Please submit a photo of this work to your teacher today.

4) If you have a timer at home, try timing yourself reading the story! How many words can you read in one minute? Have someone in your family time you and keep track of how many small errors you make when you read.

After you've read it once, it's fun to try again and see how much better you can do! Our goal by the end of first grade is to be reading 47 words per minute with about 90% accuracy!
