Monday, May 4th Learning Tasks

Week 5 PE Lessons

Unit 1 Music Lessons

Happy Monday! Welcome to Week 5 of distance learning!

We hope you were able to pick up your new packet either last Friday or over the weekend. If you're still needing one, please let your teacher know. This new packet will cover Weeks 5-6 of distance learning.

As always, each day of the packet has work for your child to do in reading, writing and math. We will continue to highlight one subject/lesson a day which we will call the "Priority Task." The Priority Task will be highlighted in blue here on the website.

In addition to each day's Priority Task, we'll have a list of "Recommended Tasks" if you're up for doing more. Among these extra tasks will be: additional pages in the packet for that school day, blank pages to do free writing (Tues/Thurs), supplemental video lessons from the teachers, and time on the varying educational apps.

Beginning today, the website will have a separate page for each school day. The teachers thought this format may be easier to follow.

Please let your child’s teacher know if you have any questions!

Priority Task:

Today we will be focusing on reading. Please follow along with Mrs. Brown below. Please complete workbook page 260 in your packet under Week 5, Day 1.

Follow along here to learn more about our big question of the week: "How are things built?"

Mrs. Brown shared in her video, for those who want extra or a challenge, they can read the "How To Build a Snowman" mini book in the packet for today and then record a retell using all 5 parts. If you choose to do that, this poster will help you!
