Photography in Art is open to 10th/11th/12th grade students who previously took Studio in Art OR Digital Art & Design!

Studio in Art OR Digital Art & Design are a pre-requisite for this 1-credit course! This course focuses on using photography as an art form. The course covers the basics of black and white film photography, along with related creative processes. Digital photography will also be explored, through the use of digital tools and computer software! Using both methods, students will research, explore and produce images that show artistic expression through their use of subject matter, composition, the elements of art and the principles of design. Students are asked to supply their own 35mm camera, film and photo paper.
