2023 Art Shows
We had 5 WONDERFUL shows this spring, as each of our buildings hosted their year-end celebrations of the arts! Pictures below are from each of the events, the Village Elementary, Quest Elementary and Northwood Elementary Art Openings, the High School Exhibition, and the Merton Williams "One Night Only" Art & Music Fest! Congrats to all of our artists for an amazing year!

2023 NYSATA Regional Art Show!
March 2023: The NYS Art Teachers Association (NYSATA) held their annual Region 2 exhibition at Roberts Wesleyan College! 10 Merton Williams students had work on display in the awesome K-12 show! Amongst works from all over Monroe County and the Finger Lakes region, our students' work was something to be proud of! Check out some of the works below!
Empty Bowls 2023
March 2023: Empty Bowls returned this March to the Hilton Central School District! 5th and 6th grade artists from all 3 elementary schools created bowls for this charity event, connecting service to others and the artistic process! Money was raised for Heifer International and the Hilton Cadet Cupboard, organizations that devote resources to brining food and meals to those in need. A great crowd came out to Northwood Elementary, host of the 2023 show, with families and artists from Village and Quest, and from all parts of our community coming as well! The 2023 "Start Here" Exhibition at RIT!
February 2023: RIT hosted it's annual "Start Here" Exhibition, featuring work from all over Monroe County and the Finger Lakes region! Students, grades 7 through 12, had work selected for this show by teachers from many school districts.
Caitrin Crawford, 11th grade, won the RIT School of Photographic Arts & Sciences "Photojournalism" Award for her amazing photo of Lebeau Field!
Elena Antinarella (12th grade), Emma DeRooy (12), Sophie Johnson (12), Sean Kuder (12), Brodie Bostley (10), Mary Burke (10), Alana IpenVanZeilen (10), Natalie Kiser (10), Paige Blonsky (8), Hailey Cooper (10), Brooke Gould (8), Alexiz Kerschen (8), and Sophie Meagher (8) also had works in this exhibition filled with talent! Congrats to all of these student-artists!
5 Buy Five Success!
February 2023: The 5 Buy Five Charity Art Show came your way on February 15! A great crowd came and saw some amazing artworks, heard some fantastic live music, and supported two wonderful organizations. As of this writing we have raised over $500 to be split between the Ugandan Water Project and the Hilton Cadet Cupboard! Thanks to Mr. Weber and his talented Jazz Band for playing our event, as well! The 2021-22 Hilton CSD Art Shows!
June 2022: Hilton Central School District welcomed art-lovers back into our buildings to celebrate a year of incredible artwork at our year-end art shows! Village Elementary started with an amazing event! Northwood Elementary and Quest Elementary opened to great crowds the following week! Hilton HS had a stunning best in show piece, with tons of other works enjoyed by a great audience. And Merton Williams finished the school year with the first annual "One Night Only" Art and Music Fest, featuring a selection of work from throughout the year accompanied by art-making activities and a wonderful concert from our MW bands! What a year.

Spring 2022 NYSATA Region 2 Show at Roberts Wesleyan
April 2022 - Roberts Wesleyan played host to the New York State Art Teachers Association (NYSATA) Region 2 Art Exhibition on Friday March 25! The opening was a wonderful event with a great crowd there to see some incredible artwork from around Rochester and the Finger Lakes. Hilton was represented by students from 3 of our schools. Congratulations to these talented kids for their amazing work!
From Northwood Elementary: artists Natali Alvarado(4), Kai DiPaquale(3), Payton Lauber(5) and Brayden Norton(5)!
From Merton Williams Middle School 8th-grade artists Adria Benhumea, Leandra Lagares-Garcia, Natalie Meyer, Allison Onofrey, Jack Palmer, Lilly Reed, Julia Svyrydyuk, and Juliana Turner!
And lastly, from High School artists Summer Cordone (9), Natalie Kiser (9) and Avan Muir (11)!
We are proud of you all!! The work is still on display through April 1 if you get a chance to go see it!

April 2022: As we gear up for our year end Art Shows, we want to celebrate the incredible work our students have done from September until today! Featuring both finished pieces and an array of "in-progress" shots, this online show is a sample of work from all over the Hilton Central School Distirct, K-12! 2022 5 Buy Five Charity Art Show Raises over $900!
February 2022: The 5 Buy Five Charity Art Show on February 16, 2022, was a wonderful event, returning as our first in-person Art event in over two years! We had a great crowd, and raised a humbling amount of money, over $900 for the Ugandan Water Project and the Hilton Cadet Cupboard! Thanks to all who attended! Check out the pictures in the panel below, for some great looks at this year's event! See you in 2023!

January 2022: The 5 Buy Five Charity Art Show returns! Hundreds of 5 by 5-inch pieces, collages, drawings, paintings... works of all kinds, will be available for purchase for $5! All proceeds will benefit the Hilton Cadet Cupboard and The Ugandan Water Project! Come see some great work and enjoy performances from our MW Jazz Ensemble!

June 2020: The Spring of 2020 brought lots of changes to schools. With a switch to remote learning for our last few months of school, we moved our year-end Art Show online. We couldn't come together in person, but we were able to celebrate the amazing work of our K-6 artists at Northwood and Village! Click the picture to see more images from the 2019-20 event!
