1. Who - For teachers to use with students in elementary school.

2. The need - The teachers interviewed expressed different needs such as primary content for upper elementary, processing emotions, and working together in groups. 

3. What - This activity is Marvel Superhero themed. Students are exploring simplistic movement through super hero poses and tiktok examples. Students are will talk about good and bad by discussing heroes and villains. Finally, students will use a model of the avengers to work as a team to come up with movements/compositions. 

4. UDL and SEL - UDL is utilized because students are able to receive the content through multiple means of representation: Visually and aurally. SEL is used by  creating self-awareness of who has what role in the group. 

5. How 

   1. 1. 1. Teachers will open up the google slides (Linked Here)

         2. Teachers will ask if the students remember any Avengers from the last lesson. Have students clap each super hero as they say it, have whole class echo.

         3. (Go to slide 3) Play the avengers theme song remix and have students echo the super hero names with clapping 

         4.  (Go to slide 4) Model rhythm compositions with the students. 

         5. (Go to slide 5) Remind students of group leader roles. 

         6. (Go to slide 6) Have students split into groups and create compositions. Give them 5–10 minutes to compose their avengers rhythm. Then have each group practice simultaneously. 

         7. (Go to slide 7) Play the remix and give each group an opportunity to perform their rhythms. 

6. Materials - A projector and a sound system.
