STEPS TO AUDITION
CREATE YOUR OWN AUDITION:
Play approximately 30% of EACH ETUDE - (you may choose to play more)
You Choose the Cuts, (cuts must be consecutive measures )
A Recorded Audition Includes a Live Recording Showing You Performing
Introduce Yourself - (this is important, be sure you speak clearly and are looking into the camera)
Announce your cut - “I will be playing etude ? starting in measure ? and stopping in measure ?.”
Continue with the next cut, and then the final cut.
You may record each cut separately, you do not have to do all three at the same time, and etudes may be played in any order
Submit your video recordings to Ms. Mayes via email or by sharing a Google Drive link.

Read these instructions carefully, following them precisely is part of your audition
You may play using metronome.
Tempo does not matter, but timing does – play correct rhythms within your chosen tempo
Error Free Performance with a sense of musicality is what we are listening for

See below for a complete list of dates for this year's Inspired Performers class. If you are auditioning for the group, please ensure that you are able to commit to attending as many of the sessions as possible. Students in this group should not miss more than one or two sessions, if any.
All sessions will take place from 4:30pm - 6:00pm
