VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES

Getting the 225+ members of the Mighty Ram Band to games, fed, on the field, and ready to perform takes a village!  We would not be able to do what we do as a band program without the support of our incredible band family volunteers. There are numerous jobs that our MRB family and friends take on in order to help our students be prepared to take the field on any given performance day. Just a few of those jobs include: 

• Uniforms

• GameDay Meals

• Contest Meals

• Logistics Crew

• Hydration Crew

• Chaperones

If you are interested in supporting the Berkner Band through volunteering, we would love to help find the right job for you! There are two quick steps that you must complete first. 

The school district requires that anyone volunteering to work with our students must complete a background check and be approved by the district. The process is simple and should not take you long to complete. Go to web.risd.org/home/volunteer/ or click the button below. 

Once you have received your background check approval from RISD (via email), please forward your approval email to our volunteer coordinator, Marilyn Diaz, at berknerbandchaperones@gmail.com.
