Objective: Students will understand the benefits of service learning and being involved in Activities and clubs

Procedures:

Part I- Activities and Clubs & Service Learning

1. Watch Activities Video and Service Learning Slide Show with Students (below)

2. Discussion Questions:

• • Besides what is the video, there are addition activities at PHS, can you name some?

  • What are the benefits of getting involved in school activities?

  • Share with a classmate your favorite involvement activity at PHS.

  • How could you encourage your friends?

• What are the benefits of volunteering?

• What are ideas do you have to volunteer to help your community?

• Share at time you volunteered your time and what it was like.

Part II- Homecoming Review

1. Review Homecoming Part 2 Slideshow

2. All students complete Carnival Night Survey

Part III- Senior Jostens Order for Optional Items

1. Pass out Josten Packets

2. Show 2 short videos on Option Senior Items to purchase.
