Title: Writing Thank You Cards & Addressing Envelopes

Objective: Students will learn/review the proper way to write a thank you note (what they would send to a person or organization that gave them a gift, scholarship, or helped them in some way), as well as, how to address an envelope.

Materials:

Procedures:

• 1. Have a brief discussion regarding why writing a thank you note is important. Ask students to come up with examples of when this would be appropriate.

  2. Emphasize the importance of this skill with graduation coming up. Thank you's are REQUIRED for any scholarships students receive through the school.

  3. Have students view the following two videos on how to address an envelope & how to write a thank-you.
