The project started with a series of lectures and training on poultry farming and egg production. The Beneficiaries were taught the application of the training to poultry production. Beneficiaries also undergo a Business insight workshop which focused on instilling entrepreneurial skills. These strategies provide participants with sufficient knowledge on establishing and managing successful poultry production. Throughout the extension project, it shows the changes in egg production and profit.
The Department of Technology Teacher Education, through the WE CARE Office started a lecture and training session on poultry farming egg production in Barangay Bunawan, Iligan City, particularly among men and women associated with the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) of Bunawan Agricultural High School.
In a remarkable display of compassion, collaboration, and commitment to inclusive development, the College of Health Sciences (CHS) of Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), in partnership with the Iligan City Local Government Unit–Persons with Disability Affairs Office (LGU-PDAO), TESDA Lanao del Norte–Provincial Office, and the TESDA Regional Training Center in Iligan, launched a four-day Basic Sewing Training Program for persons with disabilities (PWDs).
