The Interior Region (circled in blue) is the part of Alaska between the Brooks and Alaska Ranges. The region is marked to the east by the international border with Canada. To the west, the border is a bit arbitrary. Think of it as based on a dividing line of where people are either more orientated towards the interior or the coast.
