Test scores are used to identify student progress, see how students are performing in different schools, and see how different groups of students perform relative to others.
Scores are used for academic placement into Honors, Accelerated, and Intervention Classes.
i-Ready Diagnostic
The i-Ready Diagnostic is an adaptive Mathematics assessment that adjusts its questions to suit your student's needs. Each item a student sees is individualized based on their answer to the previous question. For example, a series of correct answers will result in slightly harder questions, while a series of incorrect answers will yield slightly easier questions.
The i-Ready Diagnostic is untimed.
The i-Ready Diagnostic is given three times per year (Fall, Winter and Spring)
Once students complete the Diagnostic portion, they are put on an i-Ready Personalized Pathway. Instruction provides students with lessons based on their individual skill level and needs, so your student can learn at a pace that is just right for them.
