 2026 UCB Hidradenitis Suppurativa Scholarship™  DUE  September 1, 2026.

We ask for your help to raise awareness about this new and exciting program for students whom you believe would be a good fit. This program aims to help individuals living with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) and their immediate family members pursue further education. Potential applicants may obtain program information and apply online by creating an account at www.ucbhsscholarship.com. UCB is dedicated to helping individuals affected by chronic inflammatory skin conditions like HS and their immediate family members pursue their educational aspirations. Since 2005, UCB has awarded over $6 million to more than 1,000 students in the therapeutic disease areas that we support. We continue to build our legacy by providing scholarships to those from families impacted by HS. In 2026, we will be awarding 3 one-time scholarships of up to $10,000 each and 8 one-time scholarships of up to $5,000 each to people living with HS or their immediate family members to continue their education or explore a new career.

Fulbright Scholarships

The Fulbright Program was established by Congress in 1946 with an ambitious goal — to increase mutual understanding and support friendly and peaceful relations between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.  For more than 75 years, Fulbright alumni have made an impact in areas like public service, science and technology, public health, arts, education and the environment. They have taught in local schools, led nations, made groundbreaking discoveries, and advanced nearly every discipline and field in academic institutions around the world.

Today, the Fulbright Program awards approximately 8,000 merit-based grants every year to accomplished students, scholars, teachers, artists, and professionals of all backgrounds and fields.  

1. Fulbright Scholar Awards

Fulbright Scholar Awards comprise the bulk of awards offered and include opportunities for professionals, artists, and scholars at all career levels. Location and eligibility vary across all awards, and some awards may be restricted to certain career levels or types of scholars. This information is outlined in the award description.

2. Fulbright Distinguished Scholar Awards

Distinguished Scholar awards are viewed as the most prestigious appointments in the Fulbright Scholar Program. Awards are open to scholars who have more than seven years of experience in their discipline or area of expertise, though some awards may further restrict eligibility. Distinguished Scholars are expected to actively engage host institutions in a spirit of promoting mutual understanding and sharing knowledge.

3. Fulbright Postdoctoral Awards

Postdoctoral Awards provide recently graduated scholars an opportunity to conduct research and receive professional training abroad. Awards may involve limited teaching. Postdoctoral Awards are open to scholars who will have received a doctoral degree (Ph.D., J.D., M.D., Ed.D., etc.) within five to seven years of the fellowship start date, as noted in the award description. Degree conferment before the start of the award is mandatory. Institutional affiliation in the United States is not required.

4. Fulbright International Education Administrator Awards

This award provides international education professionals and senior higher education officials an opportunity to engage in a two-week intensive seminar to learn about the host country’s education system and establish networks of U.S. and international colleagues.

Paws for a Cause Design Scholarship Deadline: September 15, 2026

Amount of scholarship $10,000

Since 2015, Skechers has been a proud supporter of animals in need  donating over $13 million to help save and care for more than two million shelter dogs and cats. Now in its third year, our Paws for a Cause scholarship program has been a huge success—garnering attention for our winners on CBS, Cosmopolitan and social media, and selling their styles at Skechers stores around the country.

We’re looking for our next two new college students who’d like to use their creative talents to give back to animals in need! If you have a fun print idea and a great story about your experience with a shelter animal, we’d love to hear from you.

The BOBS from Skechers Paws for a Cause Design Scholarship will offer:

• A $10,000 college scholarship from the Skechers Foundation for the 2027/2028 academic year

• Your designed print produced on BOBS from Skechers shoes in 2026

• Three individual virtual mentoring sessions with our Skechers corporate leadership and/or design team

• A $200 gift card for Skechers product at Skechers retail stores or skechers.com

• A pair of BOBS from Skechers shoes

Submissions must be received by September 15, 2026; scholarship recipients will be notified in October 2026.

Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway DUE September 30, 2026

Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 24 at the time of application submission.

What should I include in my video?

Anything that helps us get to know you and your dreams. Tell us about your academic goals, professional aspirations, or even personal dreams, how you plan to use the tuition and why you need it. Your video will be judged on the four following criteria: career goals, need for tuition assistance, impact of tuition assistance, and overall presentation quality and delivery. When are the $100,000 winners awarded?

Finalists selected to compete to win up to $100,000 in tuition will compete for tuition dollars at the following games:

• ACC Game Site: ACC Championship Game in Charlotte, NC, at Bank of America Stadium on December 6, 2025

• Big Ten Game Site: Big Ten Championship Game in Indianapolis, IN, at Lucas Oil Stadium on December 6, 2025

About The Gates Scholarship DUE September 15, 2026

The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to exceptional student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.

The Scholarship is open to all residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, age 17 or older at the time of entry. Employees and contractors of LeverEdge Association are ineligible to participate in the Scholarship Program. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Selection

One (1) entry will be selected at random at the end of the Scholarship entry window. The drawings will be performed by an employee of LeverEdge Association, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to this Scholarship. The winner(s) will be notified via email.

The Home Depot: Path To Pro Scholarship Program Deadline: September 30, 2026 

• Application Deadline: Last day of March, June, September and December.

Amount of scholarship $2,000. The Home Depot Foundation works to improve the homes and lives of U.S. veterans, train skilled tradespeople to fill the labor gap and support communities impacted by natural disasters. The Foundation has pledged to invest $50 million in training the next generation of skilled tradespeople and bridging the opportunity gap through its Path to Pro program. We want to help create the next generation of skilled trade leaders by providing scholarships to further your education.
Eligibility Requirements : A) Be a high school senior, high school graduate or have a GED equivalent. B) Plan to enroll, or be enrolled, in an approved trade-related program at an accredited two-year school (technical/vocational school or college) in the United States. C) Not be an employee or dependent of an employee of the The Home Depot. Employees of The Home Depot and their dependents are eligible to apply for a scholarship from The Homer Fund.
D) Focused on Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Construction Management
