The Order Sons & Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA), Myrtle Beach Chapter 2662, offers an annual $2500 college scholarship opportunity for Horry County High School Seniors. The $2,500 scholarship is open to high school seniors of Italian-American descent (at least one Italian or Italian-American parent or grandparent) who attend a nationally accredited high school in Horry County, South Carolina. The scholarship will be awarded based on the student’s scholarship essay, academic achievement, and faculty recommendations. Myrtle Beach Lions Club Scholarship DUE April 4, 2025
The Myrtle Beach Lions Club will award one or more scholarships to students at Myrtle Beach High School who have demonstrated their ability to persevere. These scholarships are based not only on academic accomplishments but also overcoming physical, visual, or emotional challenges while achieving those results.
The Government Finance Officers Association of South Carolina (GFOASC) is a non-profit organization that promotes the professional development of its members by providing a forum for the exchange of information related to all aspects of government finance, and by recommending and supporting improvements to the financial administration of all governmental units in South Carolina. The membership includes employees of the State, City, and County Government, Colleges and Universities, and School Districts. By establishing and awarding a High School Student Scholarship, the GFOASC provides financial assistance to a student in a high school. Amount of Scholarship: $1,250

Grand Strand Sertoma Club Scholarship: Due April 11, 2025
The scholarship is a four-year scholarship. The club will not simply help a student start college, but intends to assist him or her until graduation. However, the student must in turn demonstrate his commitment by maintaining a C+ (2.25) grade average and must attend school full time (a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester). In addition, the scholarship may be withdrawn if the recipient’s conduct is deemed unbecoming by the Grand Strand Sertoma Club. The student must provide the club with his or her transcript each semester. If the student meets these requirements, the club will renew the scholarship each year for a total of four years.
The amount of the scholarship is $5,000 per year which is renewable for a total of four years which is a total of $20,000

CAC is currently seeking applicants for its Public Scholarship. The chapter will award $1000 scholarships to talented African American female students who are graduating high school seniors in 2025. Chapter Nine Scholarship DUE April 13, 2026
Chapter 9 Book Club Scholarship is offering a $1000 scholarship to a current student graduating from MBHS that has been accepted into an institute of higher learning.
The Low Country Herb Society, a group whose purpose is to stimulate an increased awareness and knowledge of herbs, to sponsor and cultivate related herb programs in the community and to gain knowledge and stimulate interest in the planting, harvesting and uses of herbs, is pleased to offer two $1000 scholarships to students living within Horry and Georgetown counties. To be eligible students should show an interest in herbs and their uses and intend to pursue a career path that will involve herbs. The scholarships will be awarded to students who plan to attend two/four- year colleges or accredited technical institutions and to study horticulture, landscaping, culinary arts, medicine, pharmacy, or related field programs.
LCHS is also offering one $500 award to a student who will enroll in the Horry Georgetown Technical College Culinary Arts Program in the Fall.

The Tywanza Sanders® Legacy Foundation (TSLF) has opened the submission window for the 2025 Tywanza Sanders® Legacy Scholarships. Please share the attached flyer with your graduating seniors. The NEA-Retired Jack Kinnaman Scholarship Fund was established in honor of Jack Kinnaman, the then-serving NEA-Retired Vice President. At his demise, the family wished to establish a scholarship program in his honor, thus beginning a much needed assistance activity for worthy aspiring educators. In the first year of the program in 2002, a scholarship of $1,000 was awarded to one recipient. As Retired members have continued to generously donate, the amount has greatly increased to five scholarships of $3,500 each. The Grand Strand Tennis Foundation has a mission to foster the development of tennis to positively impact the communities and people of all ages, abilities, and ethnicity, through healthy recreation and physical fitness. This mission starts with building a strong foundation of young tennis players across the Grand Strand. Often, these young athletes participate in a variety of junior competitions and tournaments, including participating on their high school’s tennis team. These student-athletes not only work hard to improve their tennis skills, but often thrive in the classroom. Mildred H. Gerald Memorial Scholarship DUE April 30, 2026
The mission of Moving Forward Carolina Foundation is to support graduating high school seniors in rural areas seeking a college or technical education by providing financial assistance through scholarships in order to give them a head start into life after high school. This scholarship was established by the Moving Forward Carolina Foundation to honor the legacy of Mildred Hemingway Gerald, a lifelong educator and community service advocate. The goal is to provide financial support to a deserving high school senior. The scholarship application process and administration will be completed by the Moving Forward Carolina Foundation. The Ocean View Memorial Foundation annually awards approximately $100,000 to students who are residents of the Grand Strand community to assist them in their higher education goals. Students planning to attend any discipline accredited college or university, in a two- to four-year undergraduate program, can receive up to $2,500 aper year or as much as $10,000 in tuition grants over a four-year period. Preference will be given to students who are pursuing a degree in health sciences, such as nursing, premed, radiology, etc., or otherwise pursuing a career in the field of health care.
