Let's refer to "raise awareness" as a voice-oriented project and "influencing policymaking process" as an influence-oriented project. Please note that change requires both voice and influence and they often work in parallel. A line between voice-oriented projects and influence-oriented ones is not always clear cut. How can you understand the difference better? Which type of projects (voice-oriented, influence-oriented or both) do I want to pursue?

Reflect on what type of action (project) you chose and why (voice-oriented or influence-oriented or both). In the following class, you can incorporate your choices into the plans for action.
