Look at non-profit organizations that might be relevant to your issue below.

A non-profit organization is a group organized for purposes other than generating profit. Non-profit organizations include churches, public schools, public charities, public clinics and hospitals, political organizations, legal aid societies, volunteer services organizations, labor unions, professional associations, research institutes, museums, and some governmental agencies. Many serve public interests, play a key role in raising awareness, lobbying, and influencing policymaking.

You can search for a non-profit organization already working on the cause you care about. You can write to or meet with them. Find organizations connected to your issue below.
