Aquaponics

Our seniors can also choose Aquaponics as a pathway, and these students are actually planning, designing, and building our new system. Students are creating a humane, closed-loop, sustainable grow system by utilizing submersible pumps, nutrients from freshwater fish organic matter, various light cycles and completely food-safe and food-grade materials. We have partnered with our NGHS Culinary and Food Science classes to deliver a safe yet profitable solution to food consumption needs.
