All students at North Gwinnett High School are eligible to participate in the science fair. CHARGENorth juniors usually do it to satisfy part of their research credit for the 1st semester. They usually have class time to work on it unlike non-CHARGENorth students, who normally have to do it at a time outside of classes. This allows CHARGENorth juniors to apply their skills and knowledge they gained throughout their CHARGENorth Experience and apply it to a real-world problem. When 1st semester concludes, projects are selected to advance to the Gwinnett County Science, Engineering, and Innovation Fair.
