MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) is a comprehensive framework for school improvement that integrates data-driven decision-making, evidence-based practices, and a tiered system of support to address the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of all students. The goal of MTSS is to ensure that every student receives the right level of support at the right time through proactive and targeted interventions, continuous monitoring, and collaborative problem-solving among educators, families, and other stakeholders.

The SFT was designed to support the implementation of MTSS. Leadership Teams can utilize the GaMTSS School Fidelity Tool (SFT) in two different ways:
To measure the fidelity of an existing integrated tiered system of supports, or
To serve as a road map for schools seeking to integrate academics, behavior, and wellbeing into one tiered system of supports.
Schools must complete the SFT 2x a year (Fall and Spring).
