Strategy vs Intervention
Strategy vs Intervention
Strategies are effective instructional practices that are usually used in Tier I instruction. Strategies allow the teacher to present the content in a different manner to allow students to understand the learning objective through differentiated instruction and quality-plus teaching strategies.
Interventions are evidence and researched-based supports and techniques that are monitored in response to the effectiveness of the intervention. Interventions are documented and are based on data-based decisions to best support a specific deficit such as mathematical reasoning or computation deficits.
