Any student who is unable to attend a Lanier Junior Theatre Company meeting for any reason must fill out this form. Students who do not give prior notice of absence through this form will be permanently removed from the Lanier Junior Theatre Company.

Excused absences include: illness, family illness, family emergency, religious exemption, etc.
Excused absences DO NOT include: Other sports or activities, forgetting about a meeting, not having a ride, etc.

Our initial meeting
will be held on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, from 4:15 to 6:00
in the LMS Media Center.
All students who wish to audition for the fall production of The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon are required to attend. You MUST have a ride at 6:00 PM to attend the meeting.

REQUIRED Parent Information Session
will be held on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, 2026 from 6:00 to 6:15
in the LMS Media Center.
Parents of ALL drama club members (including those who have already been in or worked tech for one of our performances) are required to attend. In this meeting, we will discuss the expectations for students in our club, club dues, and answer any questions you may have.

will be held on Thursday, May 14th, 2026 from 5:00 to 8:30
at the Lanier High School Theater.
Students cast in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon are required to attend for the duration of the rehearsal and must have a ride to Lanier High School as close to 5:00 as possible and from Lanier High School at 8:30.
Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a snack.

will be held on Saturday, May 16th, 2026 from 12:00 to end of the performance
Performance begins at 2:00. Doors open at 1:45.
at the Lanier High School Theater.
Students cast in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon are required to arrive for the performance at Lanier High School at 12:00. Students will be released to go home shortly after the performance ends.
Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a snack.

The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon - Performance #2
will be held on Sunday, May 17th, 2026 from 12:00 to end of the performance
Performance begins at 2:00. Doors open at 1:45.

Students cast in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon are required to arrive for the performance at Lanier High School at 12:00. Students will be released to go home shortly after the performance ends.
Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a snack.

Comprehensive Spring Rehearsal Dates - 2026
Rehearsal is held at Lanier Middle School from 4:15 - 6:00 on Thursdays.
Students must have a reliable ride each week in order to be in Drama Club.
If a student's ride is late more than one time or is more than 15 minutes late on any one given date, that student will be suspended from the Lanier Junior Theater Company until further notice.
Students who are cast in lead roles/larger roles may be required to attend extra rehearsals, which are not held regularly, and are often held during tutoring hours (8:15 - 8:50) no more than once a week.
