Any student who is unable to attend a Lanier Junior Theatre Company meeting for any reason must fill out this form. Students who do not give prior notice of absence through this form will be permanently removed from the Lanier Junior Theatre Company.

Excused absences include: illness, family illness, family emergency, religious exemption, etc.
Excused absences DO NOT include: Other sports or activities, forgetting about a meeting, not having a ride, etc.

Performance begins at 2:00. Doors open at 1:45.

Students cast in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon are required to arrive for the performance at Lanier High School at 12:00. Students will be released to go home shortly after the performance ends.

Comprehensive Spring Rehearsal Dates - 2026

Rehearsal is held at Lanier Middle School from 4:15 - 6:00 on Thursdays.
Students must have a reliable ride each week in order to be in Drama Club.
If a student's ride is late more than one time or is more than 15 minutes late on any one given date, that student will be suspended from the Lanier Junior Theater Company until further notice.
Students who are cast in lead roles/larger roles may be required to attend extra rehearsals, which are not held regularly, and are often held during tutoring hours (8:15 - 8:50) no more than once a week.
ONLY students who are listed on the rehearsal dates are permitted to attend. All others will be sent home. Students are not allowed to stay and hang out when their scenes are not being rehearsed. For example, if Act One is listed next to the rehearsal date, students in Act Two must go home and will not be permitted to attend rehearsal. Students who do not follow this may be suspended from Drama Club.
