Any student who is unable to attend a Lanier Junior Theatre Company meeting for any reason must fill out the form linked below.
STUDENTS WHO FAIL TO GIVE PRIOR NOTICE OF ANY ABSENCE THROUGH THE FORM BELOW WILL BE PERMANENTLY REMOVED FROM THE LANIER JUNIOR THEATRE COMPANY.
LJTC Absence Notification Form
Excused absences include: illness, family illness, family emergency, religious exemption, etc.
Excused absences DO NOT include: Other sports or activities, forgetting about a meeting, not having a ride, etc.
We will meet on WEDNESDAYS starting in August of 2026!
Important Dates for Fall Semester 2026
Dress Rehearsal #1
will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:30 at the Lanier High School Theater.
Students cast in Peter Pan are required to attend for the duration of the rehearsal and must have a ride to Lanier High School as close to 5:00 as possible and from Lanier High School at 8:30.
Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a snack.

will be held on Friday, December 4, 2026 from 5:00 to end of the performance
Performance begins at 7:00. Doors open at 6:45.
at the Lanier High School Theater.
Students cast in Peter Pan are required to arrive for the performance at Lanier High School at 5:00.
Students will be released to go home shortly after the performance ends.
Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a snack.

Comprehensive Spring Rehearsal Dates - 2026
Rehearsal is held at Lanier Middle School from 4:15 - 6:00 on Wednesdays.
Student Pick-Up Information:
Students must have a reliable ride each week in order to be in Drama Club.
If a student's ride home is more than 20 minutes late at any given rehearsal, or if a student's ride is more than 10 minutes late twice, they will be suspended from the Lanier Junior Theater Company until further notice.
Drama Club sponsors do not receive compensation for their work with the Lanier Junior Theatre Company. We cannot tolerate chronic tardiness with pick-up and will have to suspend your student if there is a pattern of late pick-ups.
