What are your personal beliefs about teaching social studies? How will you approach it as a classroom teacher?
I think that these things are so important to shape and impact, good, and impactful members of society. With a good awareness of society and it's impacts on their lives, and the lives of others.
By giving them the true knowledge, they can shape and make their own ideas and decisions on their views, etc. I think that giving them an awareness of economics, civics, and how they can prevent the past from happening again, is important in shaping functioning members of society.
