Nothing like a surprise rainstorm right at dismissal!
It's been an exciting week on campus. From a surprise rain, to our Spaghetti dinner, we have had many adventures in the last few days. See below for more upcoming highlights.
important upcoming dates:
Sept. 17th: Chick Fil A Spirit Night
Sept. 20th: Student half day. Elementary students dismiss at 12:00.
Sept. 26th: Curriculum Night-- Join us in grade level classrooms to learn what your students will be learning this year. Each grade level will have two session options: 6:00 and 6:30.
Sept. 27th: Rock Your School Day (See graphic below for details)
Oct. 2nd: PTA Reflections Night

Nurse Manaska won a grant for advanced diabetic training certification. This will give her progressive knowledge on diabetic equipment and care, and allow her to serve both staff and students districtwide as a leader in diabetic care.
Ms. Hart won a grant for Dash robots that introduce students to coding. This will give our scholars coding skills for their future!

Description: This September, take it outside! Learn about how the great outdoors can be its own art room as we explore the Museum's outdoor spaces and the art that lives there.
Adults do not need a ticket. When classes are filled, email familyprograms@dma.org to be placed on the waiting list.
We are happy to celebrate your child's birthday at school. We allow parents to send birthday trinkets for their child's class if they want, however, WE DO NOT ALLOW BIRTHDAY TREATS or FOODS. Cupcakes/cake/candy etc. compete with healthy meals and snacks and may affect students with food allergies. We will not serve them.
