Dear Savannah families,
Many of you may know that I planned on retiring at the end of this year, and I have shared that with your kiddos. What I did not plan on was deciding to leave Savannah at mid-year break. This decision is best for me currently, but it does not come easily. Counseling is where my heart is, and the transition into a role outside of education is coming sooner than I anticipated. This means that my last day will be December 20th
Working as the School Counselor for the past 7 years has been an honor and a joy for me, along with my various teaching roles since 2006. My cup is certainly filled with many fond memories that I will carry with me. I’ve so enjoyed the relationships with students and parents throughout my years at Savannah Elementary.
I just want to say, “Thank You.”
Kind wishes to you all!
Ms. Chapman
