Savannah Families we are so excited to see your students again! Tomorrow is an exciting day. Make sure your students go to bed on time and eat a healthy breakfast. Families are welcome to walk their students in to class for the first two days of school (Wednesday, August 7th, and Thursday, August 8th.) We will clear the hallways PROMPTLY at 7:40 when the tardy bell rings so that our students can begin their day. Friday we want our students to practice independence and walk to class on their own.
Please read through the important FAQ's below to help you start the school year with your questions answered.
IMPORTANT: First day dismissal takes a LOOOOONG TIME. Students are learning new procedures and it takes a few days to get it right. NO ONE ON THE PLANET wants dismissal to be fast more than our teachers. They are outside for the long haul, standing in the heat until each of our friends are walked, loaded, or bussed. Please be kind as you wait. It won't be many days before we BLOW YOUR MIND with our efficiency!

What about school lunch accounts?
You can create/add money to your students lunch account here.
If you would like to apply for school meal assistance (lunch/breakfast at a free or reduced price), please use the link below. Please note that families must reapply each school year.
It will prompt you to sign up for a SchoolCafe account first (or sign in if you already have an account from last year), then you may click on the benefits link within. This is also the place to add funds to your child's breakfast/lunch account if they will be eating in the cafeteria this school year.

What if we want to volunteer on the Savannah campus this year??
See below for a volunteer background check form link. All volunteers must be background checked.
When can I eat lunch with my student?
At Savannah, we require lunch guests to complete a background check form. See the link below. We will open up campus for lunch guests starting the week of August 19th. This gives our students a chance to practice lunch procedures before changing their routine.
Can I send treats on my students birthday?
We are happy to celebrate your child's birthday at school. We allow parents to send birthday trinkets/favors for their child's class if they want, however, WE DO NOT ALLOW BIRTHDAY TREATS or FOODS. Cupcakes/cake/candy etc. compete with healthy meals and snacks and may affect students with food allergies. We will not serve them.
