5th Grade

This week in 5th grade, we've been celebrating International Dot Day by creating our own yin yang style dot.

Students drew line designs and patterns to their yin yang and next week we will be adding color to finish our yin yangs.

4th Grade

This week, students celebrated International Dot Day by creating a drawing of a geode. 

4th graders drew a geode 'dot' and added line designs and patterns surrounding their geode. Next week we will finish our geodes with marker 'paint'.

3rd Grade

3rd grade this week celebrated International Dot Day by learning about and creating a Landscape Dot.

Students used a variety of lines to create landforms in their dot and will be finishing next week by adding color.

2nd Grade

This week in 2nd grade, students celebrated International Dot Day by learning about the art style Pointilism.

Second graders made circles on their papers and painted lines of dots inside and around their circles.

1st Grade

In 1st grade this week, students celebrated International Dot Day by drawing multiple large circles and painted them.

Next week, students will be adding oil pastel line designs in the style of Mandala patterns.

Kindergarten

Kindergartners celebrated International Dot Day this week by learning about concentric circles in the style of artist Wassily Kandinksy.

Students drew a dot on their paper and then added lines of paint around their central dot.
