5th Grade

This week in 5th grade, students have been working on finishing their competition entries for the Adopt-A-School art competition.

4th Grade

4th Graders this week have been wrapping up their entries for the Adopt-A-School art competition and the Native Texas Plant exhibition.

3rd Grade

In 3rd grade this week, students have been continuing their doughnut collages and have been adding their action lines on and around their doughnuts.

2nd Grade

In 2nd grade this week, students have been coloring their stacked teacups and have been adding their action lines to create movement.

1st Grade

This week in 1st grade, students have begun learning about geometric shapes.

Students learned about Disney artist Mary Blair and her concept art pieces using geometric shapes. 1st graders used colored shapes to create a collage in the same style as Blair's.

Kindergarten

Kindergartners this week have been learning about how artists can use shapes to create art. 

To practice this, students used geometric shapes in various sizes to create a robot.
