Welcome to Art

My name is Mrs. Lease and I'm so excited to begin my 18th year teaching Art at Providence Elementary! 

I have always been interested and involved in Art since I was in elementary school. I am a graduate of UNT with double degrees in Art History and Visual Arts Studies. 

I am married with 2 children, one of whom is here at Providence with me in 4th grade and another entering 9th grade at Guyer High School. 

In my classroom, Creativity is key. We focus on all the many facets of Art: Art Appreciation and Art History, Skills and Techniques, Media Exploration and Critique and Reflection.

I love inspiring my students artists and being inspired by them and I firmly believe Art is for All.
