Newsletter 10/16-10/27

This week in 5th Grade, we have been wrapping up our 2-3 to 3-d stacked shape artwork. Students have been adding color and a background to their artwork.

4th Graders this week have been continuing on their Britto-inspired  shape artwork by adding color.

In 3rd Grade this week, students began creating an overlapping geometric and organic shape artwork.

This week in 2nd Grade, students learned about artist James Rizzi and began creating fun faced buildings in Rizzi's style.

1st Graders this week have been practicing using organic shapes by creating a leaf artwork.

In Kindergarten this week, students learned about symmetrical balance in art. They practiced drawing a colorful castle with oil pastels that they then painted using liquid watercolors.
