Creating Text Boxes

Use the Text tool to add text to your design.

You can simply click anywhere on the artboard to create a space for text.

If you click and drag while the Text tool is selected, you will create a textbox. Text will then be defined by the text box.

Adjusting the Text

Use the Character menu (in the top menu bar) to adjust font, size, and other parameters. If you can't find the Character menu, go to Window > Type > Character.

Use the Paragraph menu (in the top menu bar) to adjust alignment.
