Lesson 1 discuss about the policies when it comes to teaching and learning as well as the issues that related to ICT policy. In integrating technology in teaching must have a plan or a road map for us to be safe when using it. in particular, the benefits of new technologies is evident that it make our life easier. The DICT roadmap formulated a guide in all agencies in the utilization regulation and enhancement of ICT. Each project has a corresponding policy statements and guidelines. 

          However,  it also tackle about the issues on ICT  which is the Global Issues such as Access and Civil Liberties, Access to the Use of Internet and ICT  and lastly the Infringement to Civil Liberties or Human Rights. Under this Human Rights policy is the issue on Freedom of Expression  and Censorship, Privacy and Security, Surveillance and Data Retention and E-Pollutants from E-Waste.

         I realized that this policy and guidelines, project and issues are related to the teaching and learning. It give us a guidelines for us to know the limitation of using ICT and to make sure that we didn't harm other people. We should know this policy or guidelines on how to use or regulate technology for us to be protected from the hazards that technology brings to us.

  Lesson 2 discuss about the safety issues on the use of ICT, how we applied the e-safety rules in the use of ICT. Using technology is risky that one tap can ruined everything. when we improperly used, it become danger on the students as well as the school.  Some risks you may encounter includes cyber-bullying, viruses, trojans, addiction, spyware, etc. when using ICT in school, it's also important to know some minor misuse of ICT such as copying information into someone's assignment or project, downloading materials that is not relevant to the activity, using someone's account to log in and taking pictures or images.

           Since there's a risk, we must need to have an e-safety for us to   be protected in the hazards of using ICT , safeguard the students in digital world, develop safer online behavior and use ICT in positive way.  When it comes to network management, we must need to know about the safety in the use of network in schools, password policy, mobile devices and cameras for us to be protected.

             I realized that there are bunch of issues, policies and rules that all students must know to properly used the ICT. Though we all know that technology is really powerful in holding information and ideas, it also dangerous due to the advanced application that allow hacker to manipulate, and used your information in a negative way. Be a digital literate one. be safe and be protected.
