The Electronics - Instrumentation and Control - Mechatronics Department is collinear with the University’s commitment to providing services to its stakeholders and the community. As an engineering department, the faculty members and students focus on innovation and technology advancement in conducting research and development while in continuous consideration of the community use of such technology (Technology Transfer). All technology transfer activities were carefully selected such that it qualifies to the needs of the clientele. The community-oriented extension services and outreach programs demonstrate the commitment of the department in sharing its pool of experts and aspiring talents to target beneficiaries. To serve as a guide for the implementation of technology transfer, community services, and extension activities, the University has a well-defined Institutional Extension Agenda stipulated in the Extension Services Manual and cascaded to the EIM Department. The agenda on community service and extension ensures that all activities besides incur relevance and substantial impact to its stakeholders. High-impact extension activities result from the best practices that the department faithfully follows in the conduct of community service.
