Committees

ASB Reps are divided into 5 committees: Fundraising, Advertising, Spirit, Decorating, and Campus Pride. 1 officer leads each committee. The reps and officers in each committee collaborate to improve Hopkins!

Fundraising Committee - Officer in charge: Sai

The fundraising committee organizes various fundraising events, like wipes/socks/gloves, food/toy drives, and boba fundraisers. Representatives in this committee often work with stores and organizations to effectively organize these large-scale events.  We may introduce gram-sales in 2026. (Boo-grams, Valentine grams, Easter Eggs, etc.)

Advertising Committee - Officer in charge: Allison and Prarthana

The advertising committee focuses on creating posters for upcoming events, crafting "thank you cards" to support the staff, and producing video commercials and slides for the video bulletin. 

Spirit Committee - Officer in charge: Aara

Reps will attend home games to cheer on their fellow Hawks, spreading school spirit by distributing pom-poms and school spirit signs, including green foam #1 fingers to the crowd. Additionally, reps in this committee work shifts at Friday Fundays and the socials.

Decorating committee - Officer in charge: Abby

Reps in the decorating committee must be available before spirit days and socials to help set up for the events. Reps will put up decorations, including the advertising committee's posters, and make sure that the school atmosphere is spirited and on theme.

Campus Pride Committee - Officer in charge: Navika

The campus pride committee will decorate the gardens and make sure it looks as polished as possible throughout the school year. You will organize ways to keep up on repairs, lost & found ideas (display end of quarter), and slides for the bulletin. Reps will also ask for donations (soil, sand, river rocks, bird seeds, etc.) when needed and promote anti-littering.
