The mobility in Denmark took place from 21st to 27th November. Students and teachers from all the participating countries took part. The week began on Monday with ice-breaking activities, the visit of Rantzausmindeskole, organised by Danish pupils, of the city of Svendborg and a meeting with the mayor at the town hall. On day the second day we went on a cultural short trip to the city of Odense to get in touch with Danish culture and history: in particular, participants followed an open-air walk, using their smartphones, in the footsteps of HC Andersen and visited the museum dedicated to the famous Danish writer.
Day 3 was entirely dedicated to project-related activities and took place mostly at school. Participants were involved in three workshops: the first was dedicated to the Danish “pant-system” of recycling plastic and involved a visit to a local supermarket; in the second one, Danish pupils presented the features of their recycling centre ( a visit had been planned but had to be cancelled for Covid-19 reasons) and activities held at Rantzausminde to support and protect the environment; in the third workshop, all partner schools presented the Service-Learning activities carried out in their local territories.
During Day 4, teachers had the possibility to meet and share ideas about project implementation and made agreements on the Italian LTTA (C3), which was planned in presence; meanwhile, pupils were involved in games. A plenary presentation of all the work done so far and of one of the project products, “The green Citizen’s Guidelines”: pupils were asked to start work on the “Guidelines” in transnational mixed groups with teachers’ tutoring and with the support of digital devices. At the end of the day, all seven international groups presented the work done. In the evening, participants enjoyed a dinner kindly offered by Danish families and by Rantzausminde.
During Day 5, pupils were involved in games and there was an official farewell ceremony with certificates of attendance for all participants.
