☀︎The Competition Category We Participated In: Local Tourism Resources

☀︎ Our Local Community:

Fucheng Senior High School is located in the Fengshan District of Kaohsiung, close to the Cianjhen River Riverside Trail, and right next to Exit 2 of the Cianjhen High School MRT Station, making its transportation very convenient. To enhance student safety and convenience, the school has set up the path. The surrounding area offers great living facilities, with a KFC right across from the school and numerous restaurants nearby, as well as clothing stores, hotels, and a night market, providing everything needed for "food, clothing, housing, and transportation." With the development of facilities, the population in this area is increasing, making it a growing district in Kaohsiung.

☀︎Our Research Project Overview:

This project aims to build a website introducing Kaohsiung through the Cyberfair event, helping more people get to know this city, which blends modernity with tradition, nature with culture. Our theme is "Kaohsiung One-Day Trip," where we introduce the convenient transportation system, rich art and culture, and unique attractions, helping travelers quickly plan their itinerary and experience the city's diverse charm. We hope to enhance Kaohsiung's visibility both domestically and internationally and promote tourism development.

☀︎ Our Internet Environment:

The school is fully digitized, with internet access and cable TV in all the offices and classrooms. We also have three multimedia computer classrooms with 120 computers for teaching and academic purposes. The internet environment is convenient and excellent for online activities.

☀︎The Challenges We Encountered and Overcame:

1. Data Sorting and Organization: Kaohsiung has abundant information, so we used official resources and field research to ensure the content was accurate and representative.

2. Website Development Technical Challenges: Initially, we were unfamiliar with website creation. However, through learning and seeking help from our teachers, we successfully built a user-friendly platform.

3. Time Management and Division of Labor: Balancing studies and the project, we divided tasks efficiently and held regular discussions to enhance our productivity.

4. Team Collaboration and Communication: Since each member had a different understanding of Kaohsiung, we worked through multiple discussions, coordination, and collaboration to overcome difficulties.

5. Promotion and Publicity: We utilized school social media and word-of-mouth marketing to increase website visibility and attract more attention.

Through this website project, we not only learned teamwork and problem-solving skills but also gained a deeper understanding of Kaohsiung. It boosted our confidence in promoting the city's charm to more people.

This research project not only deepened our understanding of Kaohsiung but also made us realize the importance of teamwork. We encountered many challenges along the way, but through communication and coordination, we overcame them and successfully completed the website. Every challenge is an opportunity for growth; every effort is a step forward. We explored the beauty of Kaohsiung with heart and took action to promote the city, hoping more people will discover its unique charm. Kaohsiung is not just a tourist destination, but a city full of stories and culture, well worth savoring. Through this project, we learned how to solve problems and gained a greater appreciation for this land's beauty, which will continue to motivate us in our future learning and exploration.
