Come rain or shine we meet at the Frome Rugby Club, Gypsy Lane, Frome, BA11 2NA at 6:45 pm on Wednesday evenings from where we head off at 7:00 pm to run around the streets and lanes of Frome in Somerset, UK.
Every week we split into different groups of runners; examples of groups are
- Improvers: Run at 11 – 12 min miles for around 4 miles.
- Hills or pace: Training for events, sometimes on track with emphasis on performance.
- Club running: Groups split up to run at different paces, distance depends on group and speed.
- On the first Wednesday of each month we offer a 5 km time trial.
We have 2 qualified Coaches and several qualified running Leaders who will lead sessions and give advice.
From time to time we may also meet at other times. Please check our calendar.
For your safety and that of others we ask that you wear hi-viz clothing during the dark nights. We also ask that you bring a drink to all training sessions. Please bring inhalers if prescribed them.
